Terry O'Neill Exhibition: Frank Sinatra & Elton John
Luz' husband, Jim Hartley, is one of the two owners of San Francisco Art Exchange LLC (SFAE) located in the theater district of San Francisco at 458 Geary St. for nearly 30 years.  SFAE is the preeminent gallery worldwide for original artwork of Rock and Roll and Celebrity.  Terry O'Neill is a close friend of Luz and Jim and is holding an exhibit of his original photographs at the SF gallery.  This is the fourth exhibit of Terry's artwork held at SFAE over the past ten years.  The current show features original photographs of Frank Sinatra and Elton John taken over a period of more than 20 years working with these two legends.  Please give Luz a call for further information.

San Francisco Art Exchange To Host Chairman of the Board, Knight of the Realm: Frank Sinatra & Elton John Back to Back
Famed Celebrity Photographer Terry O’Neill in San Francisco for Rare Solo Exhibition Celebrating Decades of Chronicling Sinatra and John’s Careers

WHAT:          The San Francisco Art Exchange (SFAE), in association with Raj Prem Fine Art

Photography, is proud to announce its newest exhibit, Chairman of the Board, Knight of the Realm:  Frank Sinatra & Elton John Back to Back, a rare collection of photos by famed British photographer Terry O’Neill.  A celebration of O’Neill’s 40 years chronicling the careers of these diametrically different musical legends, this extraordinary and striking installation juxtaposes 20 photographs of an effortlessly polished Frank Sinatra against 20 of a quirkily dynamic Elton John.

The Chairman of the Board, Knight of the Realm exhibit will include several never-before-displayed images of both Sinatra and John with whom O’Neill enjoyed close friendships.  Also on display are two celebrated images that are part of the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery in London:  Elton John in a spectacularly sequined Dodgers uniform as he performs for over 50,000 fans at Dodgers Stadium in 1975, and Frank Sinatra with his stand-in and protective escorts on location in Miami Beach shooting his popular 1967 detective film Tony Rome.

WHO:             The opening event at SFAE included the opportunity for guests to meet O’Neill, who had traveled from London especially to celebrate this unique exhibition.  Personally signed copies of his books Sinatra:  Frank & Friendly (2007) and Eltonography (2008) are available for collectors of his photography.

SFAE international art dealers and co-owners Theron Kabrich and James Hartley, along with show curator Raj Prem, were also on hand to discuss the collection.
